Ranganakunta Lake
The Ranganna Kunta Lake project spanning 2019 to 2020, handled by United Way Hyderabad with the backing of GHMC and EPTRI has brought about a massive amount of difference regarding the situation of the lake. Earlier, the lake has problems with its silt layer and eutrophication alongside inlet and outlet problems. After the work done by UWH and its supporting organizations, UWH had managed to reach a 100 percent inlet cleaning alongside de – silting and improvement in eutrophication levels. Such changes have brought about an improved condition of the lake and caused a near 100 percent revival of the lake itself.
