About
Hunar entails education for the underprivileged & skill development. Through Hunar, the United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) enables the socio-economically communities to secure a better livelihood with skill development. Under this project, UWH connects community members to identify their needs/aspirations of better livelihood; connects them to industry-relevant and market-driven skill development courses, as well as provides value-added support like workplace readiness, vocational training, communication, and collaboration. The core objectives of Hunar are to enable women to acquire technical skills & offer premium education for the underprivileged making them employable so that they can take up jobs or enterprise opportunities available in the local market to make an income.
ABOUT United Way of Hyderabad
Founded in 2010, United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) is a non-profit volunteer led organization, that supports and mainstreams the socio-economically underprivileged communities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.UWH maneuvers its effort in building community-based and community-led solutions that strengthen the foundations of a good life: education, financial stability and health.
All our programs are developed and customized post need analysis of the communities we serve. We are registered as a Society under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 and are legally compliant with 80G, 12A & FCRA.
