Launched in 2005 by United Way Worldwide, the Born Learning Campaign has emerged as one of the most successful initiatives in response to the extensive child development information available for parents and community leaders. Following the core objectives of Born Learning, United Way of Hyderabad has designed its program implementation that caters education of poor children within communities, locally. The key focus remains to be the early detection of developmental disabilities and support and access to learning material, Anganwadi education. Including early childhood education to ensure school readiness and support underprivileged children's education. This also includes Anganwadi food, education for poor children, and educating & capacitating the Anganwadi teachers and parents in the socio-economic disadvantaged communities on the underprivileged children's education & developmental, nutritional, and learning material needs of children aged 0 to 6 years.
Founded in 2010, United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) is a non-profit volunteer led organization, that supports and mainstreams the socio-economically underprivileged communities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.UWH maneuvers its effort in building community-based and community-led solutions that strengthen the foundations of a good life: education, financial stability and health.
All our programs are developed and customized post need analysis of the communities we serve. We are registered as a Society under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 and are legally compliant with 80G, 12A & FCRA.
