Launched in 2005 by United Way Worldwide, bornlearning campaign has emerged as one of the most successful initiatives taken in response to the extensive child development information available for parents and community leaders.In accordance with the core objectives of bornlearning, UWH has designed its program implementation that caters to the conditions within communities, locally. The key focus remains to be early detection of development disabilities and support as well as access to early childhood education to ensure school readiness. This also includes educating and capacitating Anganwadi teachers and parents in the socio-economic disadvantaged communities on developmental, nutritional, and curricular needs of the children in the age group of 0 to 6 years.
