With wind speeds reaching up to 205 kmph, heavy rains and flying debris have battered the coastal belt of Eastern India. The havoc caused has led to 64 people losing their lives and 16.4 million people severely affected in varying degrees.

This catastrophic cyclone has damaged nearly 1000+ public health facilities, 5700+ school build-ings and roads sprawling over 5600 kms.
