United Way Hyderabad (UWH) is a volunteer led not for profit organization, established in 2010 to serve the underserved and needy predominantly in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. UWH is committed towards bringing about long-term change for a healthy, well-educated and financially-stable society.
The organization is registered as a Society under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 and is legally compliant with 80G, 12A & FCRA.
UWH is an affiliate of the world’s largest privately funded NGO - United Way World Wide (UWW). UWW was established in 1887 at Denver, Colorado, United States. It is the leadership and support organization for the network of nearly 1,800 community-based United Ways in 41 countries and territories.
United Way has been active in India for over thirty years and has operations spanning seven cities: Baroda, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. United Way works in conjunction with local government agencies, nonprofits, the private sector and individuals to address the most pressing social issues in their local communities.

The Mission of UWH is to bring together stake holders on to a common platform to implement sustainable and impactful community development projects, in the areas of education, health, livelihood and environment.
UWH works with the strategy to create platforms that enable the Government, donors, volunteers, NGOs and community based organisations to collaborate and develop strategies towards empowerment of the needy.
